Convenience and savings this is what the customer ordered:  half the price of full service and 6 minutes to a washed car.  For the operator:  low labor cost and high volume.  The average ticket  is $3.00 - $5.00 - $6.00 - $8.00 with 6,000 - 30,000 + cars washed/month requiring one to two employees and 100-150 ft conveyor tunnels.  Doesn’t sound to bad.  The cost to build new or buy existing is between $1.8 million and $3.0 million depending on site locations with traffic counts of 30,000 per day.

Yes, everyone wants convenience.  We are always in such a hurry for some reason.  The Express Wash is what you call the “drive thru” of car washing.

The power dryer will dry 95% of the car as it leaves the tunnel.

Once washed, the customer has the option to park and full service his car himself in the Free vacuums and canopy area on the side of the wash.  Usually as much as 70% of the customers will do this.

Most of the systems recycle water for the wash and pre-rinse. Fresh water is used for the final rinse.
